"But lately this is disappearing because of politics because they make it very hard for people to survive in the city. Maybe it’s the economy, I dunno what it is, but it’s very bad. They charge so much money for everything, parking, they make people not really want to come into the city anymore. A lotta people are trying to move their business out of the city. These big chain stores, a lotta banks, a lotta drug stores-—a lotta sick people—I dunno. And then they charge huge rent. And Con Edison doesn’t make it easy."
